My 2-hour Beginner Pet Gundog Games Workshop is designed to show you how to use simple, effective games to build focus, connection and engagement with your dog. Perfect for beginners, this workshop introduces you to the foundations of pet gundog training in a way that feels fun, achievable and easy to apply in everyday life. You’ll learn how to use games like retrieving, “find it” and engagement exercises to give your dog a clear outlet for their natural instincts, so they’re less likely to switch off, pull or entertain themselves. This is especially suited to pet gundog breeds who are full of energy, easily distracted, or more interested in the environment than their owner. During the workshop, we’ll cover how to: * Build focus so your dog chooses to engage with you * Introduce simple retrieving in a structured way * Use scent-based games to encourage calm, purposeful behaviour * Channel your dog’s natural drive into something productive * Create more enjoyable, connected walks Everything is kept small and supportive, so you’ll get guidance throughout and feel confident putting it into practice.
